We're more than half way through 2014. Here's a roundup of just some event activity so far this year:
January kicked-off with an invite from Infinity Marketing Team to provide a Digital Graffiti Wall at the HP, Intel and McAfee hosted "Detach Yourself" event in Vegas. Taking place at the Hakkasan, the DGW was disguised as a giant touch tablet. US rock band, The Neighbourhood provided the live event soundtrack.
Super Bowl is party time and Hennessy threw the biggest at Spring Studios with Nas and Kelly Rowland. Social Mosa, projected on multi-screens, got the 'who's who' of hip-hop crowd engaged... it was a late, crazy night for guests including the triumphant Seattle Seahawks team.
On the other side of the pond, BBC comedian, Russell Howard embarked on a sell-out UK tour. To promote it, and to encourage fans to make their own Vine vids, we made him a branded Vine Wall tagged #wonderboxlive.
Rolling into March, Social Mosa was at it again: in store windows at Bloomingdales, Dubai to promote a seasonal fashion show. In the Netherlands for Sogeti and at the SXSW Interactive kick-off party in Austin, TX.
Rounding out the month and heading into April, Social Mosa went on tour with State Farm across the US to promote the Billboard Latin Music Awards. It also featured at the 'Women In The World' summit in New York for AT&T.
Back in Texas at SXSW, we installed two LCD Graffiti systems at Pandora's Discovery Den for Revlon's first ever experiential marketing event. Four days of music from an eclectic artist line up was matched by huge line ups of eager fans wanting to get creative with digital graffiti.
Digital graffiti was the flavour of April, May and June. Cartier celebrated their store reopening with a DGW in NYC. And 9000 attendees of IBM's Impact 2014 global conference in Vegas got to grips with it too. IBM was so pleased with how digital graffiti engaged their delegates, three weeks later they asked us down to Tampa for their 'Smarter Commerce' summit.
We often work in NYC but at the Swatch store, appropriately in Times Square for a consumer product promo, was a first. In July, we headed over to LA with Shepard Fairey branded LCD Graffiti walls to help launch his collaboration with Hennessy. Twenty minutes away in Long Beach, California 'Honda Stage' kicked-off Demi Lovato's world tour with an outdoor gig and digital graffiti in the Pandora tent.
