Installed in malls across Canada, our interactive fruit mirror turned shoppers into a healthy visual snack when they approached for a closer look.
Commissioned by ad agency, DDB Vancouver for Sun-Rype, the installation featured a web cam built into the screen structure. The hardware was hooked up to a bespoke application programmed to convert everything in view into fruit.
This video shows the first test with a 65″ LCD screen, and a system restart feature from a cell phone paired to the computer running the Fruitify Me application.
This installation was part of a wider campaign including 'Fruitify Me' television ads to launch Sun-Rype’s new juice drink packaging design.
