When Downtown Van came to us looking for a way to bring more vibrancy to Robson Square Plaza with a new lighting system for the holiday season, we proposed a fully animated lighting array in a soothing, undulating pattern.

We created canopy—a stunning array of 3,000 programmable LED lights that cycle through a series of mesmerizing animations. The lights shine in incredible hues, adding a whole new dimension to the plaza. It’s like the space itself is breathing, shifting with colours that capture the eye and lift the spirit.

From rich blues to fiery reds, soft pinks to vibrant greens, the lights are constantly changing, transforming the plaza into something magical. Installed above the high-traffic area, just south of the Vancouver Art Gallery, canopy has become a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike, adding energy and beauty to Robson Square no matter the time of day.
