For musician Ryan Hemsworth's international tour, he wanted to have a family of stage props that would react to his compositions in real time. He felt that most dj's are up on stage alone with a laptop and he wanted to add to his performance by becoming the least interesting thing up in front of the audience.

We created a set of Imaginary Friends for Ryan that he could control during his live shows. His "friends" included robots, a rainbow, an inflatable cloud and a wind-up sculpture reminiscent of classic toys. Working alongside Ryan, we came up with responses from the friends that corresponded well with the often playful sounds of his songs.
